Not easily. Unlike traditional Chukum, Mas Maya Coating is flexible, making it far less prone to cracking—even on surfaces that naturally expand or shift.

It’s water-resistant on its own and perfect for humid areas. However, in constantly wet environments (like pools, showers, or exterior floors), a waterproof membrane and our sealing system (Presealer + Sealer) are essential.

There’s no need. Mas Maya Coating has a natural off-white tone and an earthy depth that eliminates the need for paint. If you want colour, pigments can be added during mixing.

Simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh cleaners, especially if the surface is sealed.
