When to Use Mas Maya Mesh:

Mas Maya Mesh is essential when applying Mas Maya Coating over materials like wood, drywall, or any surfaces that are susceptible to cracking or movement. It is also recommended for use on surfaces with existing fissures to prevent them from reappearing after coating.

Application Instructions:

  1. Surface Preparation:

    • Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any loose particles.
    • Apply a bonding resin (like Mas Maya Primer) to the surface to enhance adhesion. Allow it to become tacky before proceeding.

  2. Mesh Application:

    • Unroll Mas Maya Mesh and cut to the desired size.
    • Lay the mesh onto the prepared surface, pressing it gently into the bonding resin.
    • For wooden surfaces, apply the mesh and ensure it adheres well, creating a reinforced base.

  3. Coating Application:

    • Once the mesh is in place, apply the first coat of Mas Maya Coating directly over the mesh.
    • Ensure the coating is spread evenly, embedding the mesh fully within the layer.
    • Allow the first coat to dry before applying subsequent layers as needed.
