Mas Maya Primer is a high-adhesion, water-based primer designed to strengthen the bond between the substrate and Mas Maya Coating. It prepares the surface, evens out absorption and supports a durable, uniform finish.

The ready-to-use formula requires no dilution and is suitable for masonry, brick, plaster and other moderately porous surfaces.

A 1-litre container covers approximately 7–10m² per coat, while a 5-litre container covers approximately 35–50m² per coat, depending on the surface and its porosity.

  • Type: High-adhesion, water-based primer
  • Appearance: Milky white liquid that dries clear
  • Suitable Surfaces: Masonry, brick, plaster and other moderately porous surfaces
  • Density: 1.010 ± 0.04 g/mL
  • Solid Content: 53 ± 1%
  • pH: 7.0–9.0
  • Viscosity: 4,000–6,000 cP
  • Coverage: 7–10m² per litre, per coat
  • Drying Time: 2–4 hours, depending on ambient conditions
  • Application: Apply one thin, even coat using a short-pile roller, brush or spray gun
  • Dilution: Do not dilute; the product is ready to use

Allow the primer to set for at least 30 minutes before applying Mas Maya Coating. The surface should feel slightly tacky when the coating is applied. Do not leave more than 24 hours between priming and coating. If this period is exceeded, apply a new coat of primer.

For bathrooms, pools, exterior areas and other wet zones, use Mas Maya Pool Primer instead.
